“She Believed” by Sarah Richards Samuelson
She believed her offering was enough,
And it was.
More than enough.
She believed she had in her hands
Enough to feed five thousand
And there was.
She believed
That what her Savior was in search of
Was her.
She was the one who gave
Just what He needed
To be able to teach
And to save,
She believed
And didn’t doubt
She had courage
To propose
Amidst the scoffs
And hunger throws
A brave girl
Believed.

Especially relating to 3 Nephi 18:30-31
Josh Garrels is a contemporary artist who came into Christian faith in his 20s. While he does not consider his music to be strictly faith-centered, he blends secular and and scriptural references in nearly all his songs. His music hits close to home as many of his visual references are based around the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
At The Table speaks both to returning ‘home’ from a wayward life to a loving mother who has continued to minister to her son as well as the act of spiritually returning to God.
